CR-Nielsen records a continuous growth in Chinas online ad spending. In the first quarter of 2010, the total internet ad spend has touched 4.06 billion RMB. This is an increase of 52.7%, as compared to the first quarter of the year 2009. The number of Chinese advertisers advertising online is growing at a fast pace. CR-Nielsen reports further predict that this growth in online ad spending will continue for the remaining quarters of 2010 as well.
Here is a rapid growth in Chinas internet usage. Currently, the total number of internet users in the country has reached 384 million. And this growth is expected to continue in the coming years. Apart from that, the usage of social networking websites has also increased. More and more internet users in China are accessing internet through mobile devices. |
